Jan De Visch is partner in Bridges for Choice bvba. Bridges for Choice bvba assist business teams with complex change processes. In partnership with the client organisation, they provide assistance to all kind of development related processes, whether organisational development, team development, individual development or a combination of these. His expertise lays in providing professional skills in understanding and influencing organisational behaviour. He helps organisations to (re)define their overall strategy and facilitate the translation of this strategy into a supporting Human Resources strategy and related development processes.

Together with his colleague business artists, he developed the art-work process appreciation method as a tool for managers to develop creativity, intuition and other dormant competencies. In his mid-professional career he surrendered to his artistic feelings and attended the 'Portaels Art Academy', taking courses from reknown artists such as Peter Rogiers and Rainier Boidin.

His work has seduced and fascinated large circles of admirers and buyers across Europe. His paintings can be viewed as puzzles of shapes with values, edges and colours that bump up against each other to create subtle feelings. He continues to mature his skills in workshops led by international artists of the calibre of Linda Puttaert (Belgium), Alvaro Castagnet (Uruguay), Brian Ateyo (Canada), Viktor Zadhonov (Russia).

Awards and affiliations : First price professional jury Watou (1999), Winner Ensor painting festivall in Oostende (1999). Member Belgian Watercolour Society. Aquarelinstituut. His work is part of private collections in Belgium, Holland, France, Germany, Poland, South-Africa and Maroc.

Jan's motto is dat slechts in de magie van de schoonheid de kunstenaar de sleutel heeft tot het binnenste in de wereld en haar zin. Zijn werken zijn telkens transformaties van de werkelijkheid, waarbij hij vooral op zoek gaat naar schoonheid. Schoonheid kunnen we alleen maar zien als we kunnen kijken. Het zijn immers onze eigen gedachten die maken dat we de verwondering rondom ons voortdurend in stukjes breken. De transformaties hebben dan ook telkens betrekking op onze eigen ideeën, in het toelaten van schoonheid bij onszelf. In deze tedere ontmoeting met jezelf ervaar je een rustpunt met nieuwe inzichten in het-leven-voor-jezelf. Het is vooral schoonheid die ons aanzet tot verwondering, eens stil te staan bij het dagdagelijkse en te genieten van het hier en nu. We leven immers te veel in de toekomst, via allerlei lijstjes van al het werk dat nooit lijkt af te geraken. Zijn werk nodigt je uit tot verwondering, even stil te staan én naar jezelf te kijken.
